"A Choice of Dooms"

The Silver Surfer is infected with a sentinent virus from an unknown attacker. In a fevered state the Surfer destroys a Pheragot energy refinery thinking it is a monster.
The Pheragot’s send a team to investigate while the Surfer battles to control his actions as an unknown voice manipulates him. After the Surfer passes out battling asteroids (??), the Pheragot’s analyse his body and tell him he is suffering Hlavac’s disease and that there is only one known cure and that is to ingest the entire radioactive ore on the planet Aedi which would lead to its destruction.
The Surfer refuses to cause such devastation and rides out to die. He remembers yoga taught to him by Dr.Strange and he expels the viral sentinent out of his body.
Mephisto is revealed to be the unknown attacker.
Overall Rating: 8/10
Typically great art from Ron Frenz. A hidden gem, well worth a read.
