Review

"Panic on Pier One"

Author: Chris Claremont
Artists: Sal Buscema & P. Marcos

Johnny Blaze is performing a stunt for a film outside the building where Peter Parker lives.

The Trapster has recently escaped from jail with the help of his fearsome four teammates the Sandman and the Wizard and wants to exact revenge on Ghost Rider.

Spidey saves Ghost Rider from the Trapsters glue trap and together they battle the Trapster.

Ghost Rider defeats him by shooting him with his hellfire which opens up visions in the Trapsters mind of his sins and tortures his soul.

Spider-Man questions Ghost Riders methods “We’re supposed to be the good guys, mister – We’re supposed to be better than the filth we fight!” and with that the Ghost Rider says “I am what I am” and burns off into the distance.

Overall Rating: 7/10

Not a bad read, good battles and chase scenes. Not much of a plot but who needs a plot when you’ve got some great fight sequences? Recommended for Ghost Rider fans.
